Our Ambassadors

GOVERNMENT, CORPORATE & BUSINESS AMBASSADORS

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM  – FROM RIGHTS TO REALITY

Become an Invisible Disabilities Australia Ambassador organisation and put practical inclusion into action through consistent frontline support, staff awareness and public visibility.

Over 12.6 million people in Australia have chronic health conditions, thats 1 in 2 of the population (ABS, NHS 2022)

IDA’s Ambassador Program promotes mutual recognition between rights holders and duty bearers. Recognisable badges, support vests and signage help people identify where they can seek assistance.

AN OBLIGATION, NOT A CHOICE — WHY MUTUAL RECOGNITION MATTERS

Recognising a person’s needs is the first step towards responding appropriately. Your organisation can help create safer, more welcoming places where people are treated with dignity and supported to participate.

INDIVIDUAL BADGE CRUSADERS

Become a Badge Crusador- Change Community Understanding

Individual Badge Ambassadors – Wear your Ambassador Badge start a conversation! Wear your badge in the community, at work, at school, nursing homes – everywhere you go to show you stand for kindness.

When  IDA Card and Lanyard holders see your Ambassador Badge they know you can be trusted to recognise, understand and support them. They know that you understand they might be struggling, might need priority queueing, extra time, a seat, or emergency toilet access and you will treat them with kindness and respect.
